Our Community Place provides information and referral support to the community. This can be accessed via online, over the phone or in person Monday to Friday 9am to 4:30pm. Contact Our Community Place.

Lunch Hub

Lunch Hub is a two course, sit down community lunch at $3 donation on Mondays at the Lake Macquarie PCYC. The lunch is prepared by a great team of volunteers. The meal is open to all however, we encourage people and families who are experiencing loneliness or isolation, homelessness, domestic violence issues, financial or other hardship to come along.

We like to support families and single parents with young children to join us. The lunch is family friendly and we provide a small kids corner (for under 5’s). Please note: Any guests under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by an adult, or, have a parent or guardian sign a consent form to come along.

Book Swap

Book Swap is a free activity for the community to donate books and/or swap them for another book.

Available 5 days a week in the PCYC foyer.

Food Share Program

The Food Share program provides free food hampers to vulnerable families and individuals via Oz Harvest and donations. These hampers are collected from Lake Macquarie PCYC on Mondays.

Computer Support Hub & Office Facilities

Access to the internet. Computer Support available by appointment. Usage of our office facilities for a minimal cost e.g. Photocopier, scanner, and laminator. This service is conducted via appointments ONLY, please contact the office for further information.

Sister Talk

Sister Talk is a free and inclusive social group for women with an emphasis on mothers. The group operates fortnightly on Fridays at Arise Community Centre in Windale at 10am to 12pm. Children under 5 are welcome.

Activities include craft, cooking, art therapy, training, and presentations from external services. Morning tea is also provided.
