Women Shed on the Lake is an inclusive group for women of all ages. We invite women to come along to enjoy friendship, workshops, activities, support & encouragement, and of course, a cuppa and a chat!

Women’s Shed on the Lake meets on Fridays usually from 9.30am to 11.30am. See Activity program for full details. We encourage a small fee to help cover our costs (eg. hall hire, resources etc.)

Lunch Hub is a free  two course, sit down community lunch on Mondays (fortnightly) at the PCYC Lake Macquarie (Lake St, Windale). The lunch is prepared by a great team of volunteers

The meal is open to anyone, however, we encourage people and families who are experiencing loneliness or isolation, homelessness, domestic violence issues, financial or other hardship to come along.

We like to support families and single parents with young children to join us. The lunch is family friendly and we provide a small Kids Corner (for under 5’s) available with a few toys etc.

Please Note: Any guests under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult, or, have a parent or guardian sign a consent form to come along.

If you would like to find out more information on the lunch, contact Our Community Place.
